21–24 September 2011 in the IEC «Crocus Expo» will be held the largest special-purpose event in the sphere of travel business — Moscow International autumn Travel Industry week MaTIw.

In 2011 the leading international projects in the sphere of travel industry — business tourism and corporate events exhibition MIBEXPO Russia, exclusive travel exhibition LUXURY Leisure and travel exhibition Otdykh/LEISURE — will attract more than 1,500 companies from all over the world to the Moscow International autumn Travel Industry week MaTIw. The exposition will occupy the first pavilion of the newest state-of-the-art exhibition center of Russia — «Crocus Expo». Leading tour operators, administrations of Russian regions and national offices of tourism in many countries will present their programs for autumn-winter season.

OTDYKH/LEISURE EXHIBITION MEANS THE WHOLE WORLD IN THE IEC «CROCUS EXPO»!
Otdykh/Leisure exhibition will be held for the 17th time already. During this time it has been recognized by professionals, having become the most large-scale Autumn Travel Forum in Russia and CIS. In 2010, the exhibition has won international recognition having become the holder of the distinction mark of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry — UFI Approve Event. This symbol guarantees all participants and guests the highest level of service using high technologies. Otdykh/Leisure exhibition — the legislatress of exhibition fashion — invites all guests into the world of tourism.

EXHIBITION PARTICIPANTS

Every year the exhibitors discover new directions, suggesting to the visitors the variety of travel programs. And this year will not be an exception. For the first time in Otdykh/Leisure exhibition will participate Cambodia, Colombia, Morocco, and Japan. Participation of Japan in the «Leisure exhibition» is especially meaningful in the light of recent tragical events in the Land of the Rising Sun. Intention to represent the country at the international touristic arena indicates the renewal of tourism in Japan after the devastating earthquakes and tsunami that happened this March. Interest in this country has always been high among the Russians, so in the context of exhibition visitors can once again learn about popular destinations and places of interest in Japan.

Among the participants for the first time at the exhibition with a single booth will be represented of SkyTeam air companies’ alliance, Federal Passenger Railway Company «RRW» JSC.

It is pleasant to note that from year to year the exposition of the Russian regions is growing. This points to the fact, that the regions have become actively to promote and work on the creation of travel products, carry on great business to attract tourists. This year almost all subjects of the Russian Federation participate in the exhibition, including: Administration of Sochi, Tatarstan, Karelia, Stavropol Territory, Krasnodar Territory, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Vologda, Ivanovo region, and many others.

There are so many beautiful places in the world and in Russia, about which our tourists know little or do not know at all — and one of the main purposes of the exhibition is to promote domestic and foreign tourist market in its expansion, opening new directions for the Russians.

EXHIBITION PARTNERS

The strategic partner of the exhibition for several years already, since 2008, has been company «NTC Intourist». With the exhibition the company is united by general purposes and ideas — to contribute to the development of the tourist market in Russia. At its booth «NTC Intourist» will provide catalogs of the new season «Winter 2012», will prepare a variety presentations for its partners and colleagues.

Company «Lanta-Tur Voyage» this year has become the official sponsor of the exhibition special projects. It has been involved in Otdykh/Leisure exhibition since the first days of the exhibition being held — for 17 years already. Cooperation with «Lanta-Tur Voyage» has become a good tradition — last year the company sponsored the Postal Service of the exhibition. This year the company celebrates the 20th anniversary of its activities under the exhibition and represents new directions — trips to the Chinese and Mexican directions, as well as new and unique online services. On the occasion of its anniversary celebration «Lanta-Tur Voyage» scheduled a press conference on September 21 and the Evening state reception in one of the most prestigious restaurants in Moscow on September 22.

OTDYKH/LEISURE BUSINESS PROGRAM

Otdykh/Leisure Business program includes a number of interesting events. Thus, this year «on Otdykh» will be held for the first time a really trend event — the first practical conference «Modern means of territories branding» under the auspices of the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy and the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation. Within the bounds of this event there will be held presentations of achievements in making brands of the Russian regions.
Within the bounds of the exhibition for the second time will be held All-Russian Innovation Travel Projects Forum, which will unite some events: a round-table conference on «Innovative Projects in the sphere of social tourism in Russia», study group «Creation of touristic clusters in the regions of Russia», the presentation of innovative touristic projects in Russia with participation of representatives of the Russian Federation subject administration and commercial structures. Also with the Forum will be awarded the best representatives of the travel industry with the national public medals «For merits in development of tourism in Russia».

24 SEPTEMBER, «LET’S MAKE A FAMILY TRIP!»

This year participants and guests will have a pleasant surprise — the final day, September 24, will be held under the motto «Let’s make a family trip!» which means that the exhibition can be visited by all the travelling amateurs. Thus, in 2011 Otdykh/Leisure will combine two formats of the event — B2B and B2C, having offered its exhibitors the opportunity to work directly with two target audiences — the professionals, and the end users.

Within the framework of Otdykh/Leisure this year for the first time there will be held an entertainment program for children — for the beginning travelers. Little travelers can take part in a variety of imaginative competition, carwitchets and master classes.

The 7th International Exhibition and Conference on business travel and corporate events MIBEXPO Russia will be held on September 21–23, 2011 in IEC «Crocus Expo» in Moscow within the frameworks of Moscow International autumn Travel Industry week MaTIw.

The specialized exhibition MIBEXPO Russia has already been recognized as a successful concept and key professional platform of business travel industry. It is an international place of meeting for business travel operators, Russian and foreign companies to conduct business travels, organizers of incentive and rewarding trips, trainings, congresses, conferences, and conference centers, hotels and hotel chains, air companies.

The 7th Annual International Educational Conference on Business Travel «Business meetings industry 2020: Looking into the future», being held within the frameworks of the exhibition on September 22, will become the information centre of MICE industry professionals. Just at that spot represent their reports leading Russian and foreign specialists. This year the conference «Business meetings industry 2020: Looking into the future» will take place for the 7th time and will involve such topical issues as the analysis of the congress and exhibition business in Moscow, the development of MICE-tourism in the region «from the ground up», geographic projection of priority-oriented destinations for business events till the years 2020, will be made the evaluation of the sales effective methods development in conditions of increasing competition. The conference schedule «Business meetings industry 2020: Looking into the future».

LUXURY Leisure-2011 means Luxury Leisure for exclusive tourists

Luxury Leisure is the only exhibition of exclusive tourism in Russia, where unique luxury resorts, luxury hotels, VIP-category transportation services, cruises and yachts trips, and luxury health care services are represented. LUXURY Leisure is an international landmark event annually attracting a large number of professionals that has become extremely popular in a few recent years at the market.

This year the exhibition partner for Luxury Leisure 2011 exclusive tourism has become the natural health improvement clinic «KIVACH» (Karelia), the center of the Russian and world endoecology.
Particular emphasis is made by the exhibition organizers on health-related and medical tourism. For this direction representatives for the second time there will be organized in the hall a special SPA & Health presentation, during which will represent their programs the companies, clinics, spa resorts and hotels, providing medical tourism services, spa and health-related leisure.
Within the frameworks of the exhibition, on September 22, there will be held the conference on health-related and medical tourism «Unique methods of spa resorts treatment and health improvement». At this conference will be discussed the most topical and interesting SPA&HEALTH issues. Specialists from Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, India and Russia will report about new concepts of health-related tourism, about the peculiarities of health-related tours organization, will make a review of spa resorts in accordance with sickness particular characteristics.
