The Dominican Republic at the exhibition Otdykh LEISURE

The Dominican Republic Tourism Board significantly expands its presence at the largest Trade Fair for Tourism OTDYKH/Leisure-2012 increasing the exhibition space to 200 sq. m. Before the high winter season the Dominican exposition will showcase the full range of travel possibilities in the country.

20 companies representing hotel chains and inbound tour operators will work on the stand. Also the official delegation from the Ministry of Tourism is expected to visit the exhibition. Its composition will be announced later.

According to the representatives of the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, «2012 is very important for us because this is the year of special attention to the Russian tourism market, which has recently become one of the leaders in growth of tourist flow, showing a monthly increase of 50–60%. Our holiday destination has become year-round and we are interested to market it not only as an ideal beach-related rest but to a greater extent as a diversified destination».
