I am glad to welcome all participants of the 21st edition of OTDYKH International Russian Travel Market. Over the years, the forum has become an important business platform in Russia, bringing together representatives of Russian travel industry, national tourism offices and tour operators from abroad, and creating atmosphere of constructive dialogue. The forum represents all tourism segments, and we see it in the intensive exhibition’s business programme.
Historically, Moscow is a multinational and multicultural city, founded at the crossroads of the major trade routes, followed by the first travellers — merchants and caravans. I am glad to note that centuries later the capital of Russia continues to be a friendly and peaceful meeting place of the representatives of different cultures and countries. The large business forums like OTDYKH undoubtedly contribute to the strengthening and development of business and cultural relations, both regional and international.
