In order to promote the inbound tourism, enhancing the understanding of Russian nationals on Taiwan, and enhancing the economic and trade relations between Taiwan and Russia. Taiwan has decided to offer 14 days of visa-free for Russian nationals who came to Taiwan for the purpose of tourism, business, family visits, exhibitions and international exchanges. The trail period started from 06/09/2018 to 31/07/2019, the implementation will be decided according to the implementation results and relevant implementation.
For visa-free measures for Russian nationals coming to Taiwan, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Hold a Russian ordinary passport, the passport must be valid for more than 6 months;
- Hold a valid return aircraft ticket or travel to the next destination. Machine (ship) tickets and valid visas;
- Those who have no bad or criminal records;
- must have a hotel reservation record, information on the contact person in Taiwan and appropriate financial certificates for on-line inspection.
