OTDYKH Leisure Fair 2021 will be held in Moscow from 7th – 9th September
The exhibition will feature 350 companies from 50 Russian regions and 18 countries
Asia represented with exhibits from India, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Thailand and more!
The 27th edition of the OTDYKH Leisure Fair will be held from the 7th to the 9th of September. This year an impressive 350 companies will participate, from 50 Russian regions and 19 countries. The expo is an unmissable event and an excellent networking opportunity for companies worldwide in the travel and tourism industries.
The continent of Asia is being showcased across the board in this year’s expo. OTDYKH is delighted to announce that Sri Lanka will be back with an exclusive large stand and thirteen co-exhibiting companies. According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, Sri Lanka welcomed 1.9 million tourists in 2019 alone. Celebrated tourist attractions in Sri Lanka include the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, the Dambulla Cave Temple and the Yala National Park.
In addition, the expo is also delighted to welcome a newcomer to the event; SriLankan Airlines who will be participating at the exhibition for the first time with an exclusive stand. SriLankan Airlines makes an exciting announcement. It resumes flights to the Russian capital after a break of 6 years.
Other highly anticipated exhibitors from Asia include the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the company China Tourism and a newcomer to the event, the prefecture of Tottori in Japan. Tottori is famously home to the largest sand dunes in Japan.
This year the expo will also feature two companies from India. The first is Imperial Travel & Mice Pvt. With over 25 years’ experience in the industry the company motto is: Deliver More Than Expected! They offer a range of tours themed around wellness and mediation, adventure, wildlife and many other things. The second company is Jeevess Ayurveda, one of the go-to providers of Ayurvedic treatment in India, offering visitors a range of services over a complex of cottages and treatment rooms that spans 14-acres.
Another esteemed newcomer to the expo this year is Azerbaijan. They are marking their first appearance at the OTDYKH Leisure Fair with a 140 m² exhibit. Furthermore, the Minister of Tourism for Azerbaijan, Mr Anar Karimov, is expected to attend the fair in person.
We move now from Asia to Africa, and in an exciting development, Egypt has become a partner country of the 2021 expo. Egypt returns to the fair with an impressive 150 m² stand, presenting the very best of what Egypt’s tourism sector has to offer. In addition to this, Egypt has invited a large delegation to the fair which will be headed by none other than the current Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, Mr Khaled al-Anany.
Last but not least, the business program is poised to deliver thirty incredible events, in which over one hundred speakers and one thousand delegates will participate. As ever, the business program is expected to be one of the highlights of the fair, and an extraordinary networking opportunity for the biggest names in the international travel and tourism industries.
